The Eternal Problem of Yin and Yang Part 2 - Correcting Extreme, Obsessive, Compulsive

Statistical Nature!

Extremes, outliers, anomaly.

Human Nature is no exception.

Obsessive, Compulsive, and Extreme behaviors.

Some were born with it.  Others evolved into it intentionally (yes! for various good reasons they claim) or incidentally( not balancing out or releasing  the accumulated imbalances over time) with or without control.

Negative Obsessiveness or Compulsive behaviors could give rise to committing wrong doings if not treated with care, and could easily evolved into permanent criminal behaviors.
There are more than enough resource/information on the web for treatments on these behaviors so we will not repeat them here. The focus of this article is to explore simple, unorthodox techniques not commonly discussed.

Much has been talked about on using customized music to treat extreme compulsive/obsessive behaviors. Equally talked about are behavior release methods through sports.  And also through video gaming including those involving Virtual Reality or AR augmented Reality.

What about using all 3 of the above as a combo ?

A VR/AR video game with enough physical movements can be customized with proper music management to  each person's brain waves and physiology. Furthermore, a different game can be customized to counter each corresponding behavioral  element. The game can be programmed for enough curiosity to explore, and crave for  fun and knowledge/education.

This idea may be used for  the Counter Approach -techniques to counter the negative behaviors and brain waves.

But when all else fail, as a last  resort, one could apply it for  the Release Burnt Out Approach- releasing the negative by going along with it,  so to  create burnout  to cease the negative.   Do the same thing enough times and one will get sick of it (extreme reversal burnout), much like going to a gym doing repetitive movements.
Used only as a last resort because it is dangerous to get rid of the bad habit by strategically  doing more simulation of the bad habit, much like violent kids trying to get over their  violent nature  by playing violent video games excessively- it may actually  worsen it!  But with careful customized programming, this risk may be mitigated and is definitely worth researching.

Another issue worth mentioning is Framing.
If one can Frame the cause of the Behaviors in a different manner that is productive for elimination. Instead of framing the behavior as someone who was born with it, if one could explain in logical terms in regard to brain wave patterns that is causing their behaviors, it may be easier to understand,  and will breed confidence in the provided solution, so to manage and eliminate.
